How GreenOMEGA 3 is grown
Located in Kingstree, South Carolina USA, the green marine microalgae (Schizochytrium sp.) is sustainably cultivated in technologically-advanced "Enclosed-System" phyto-bioreactors.
This method of environmentally-controlled cultivation produces a very pure, pollution-free microalgae that is never exposed to unclean air or water.
The water used in the marine microalgae phyto-bioreactors is purified using Reverse Osmosis Filtration Systems, so there are no chemicals, heavy metals or other environmental pollutants in the water.
Algal Nursery
The marine microalgae starts its life-cycle in an algal test tube in the laboratory, then gets transferred into the phyto-bioreactor to grow and fully develop the rich nutrient profile of Omega 3's.
Harvesting of the marine microalgae 'crop' occurs only when it has reached its peak potency.

Then the rich Omega 3 essential fatty acids are extracted from the marine microalgae using a proprietary method that utilises a chemical-free process, and is then filtered by way of 'Chill-Filtration' to the produce a potent, pure DHA and EPA rich oil.
