How to take Spirulina
one serve = 3g (1 level teaspoon), use 1 – 3 serves per day
VEGAN CAPSULES (520mg)
one serve = 6 capsules, use 1 – 3 serves per day
PURE TABLETS (500mg)
one serve = 6 tablets, use 1 – 3 serves per day
We recommend one serve of Mountain Organic Spirulina to be three grams, that is six tablets or capsules, or one level teaspoon of powder – the best results will be seen when you reach the optimum intake of 2-3 serves each day.
NEW TO SPIRULINA?
If you have just started taking Spirulina and perhaps are not used to a lot of greens in your diet, try half serves for the first few days and build up gradually. When taking TABLETS or CAPSULES, always drink a large glass of fresh water and remember to keep your daily water intake at 1-2 litres.
EASY WAYS TO USE THE POWDER:
Mountain Organic Spirulina Powder can be shaken into your fruit juice in any closeable container such as a drink bottle, or it can be blended with fruit or stirred into yoghurt. It’s delicious!
We also recommend that if you are new to Spirulina, and perhaps not used to a lot of greens in your diet, you try half serves for the first few days and perhaps have it after food rather than on an empty stomach. A good time to use Spirulina is after breakfast, then again mid afternoon.
